It's FINALLY time for IOC's annual Fall BBQ at Lake Wauberg (North Shore) You want to make sure you don't miss out on this fun opportunity to relax and enjoy the fun at the lake. Yummy food? check football and soccer? yes canoeing and kayaking? heck to the yeah! You? we hope so We hope to see everyone there iA! Please note that although its a game day, if the game is a night game the BBQ will double as a tailgate. If the game is in the afternoon then the BBQ will be moved to sunday. Join us at IHOP at 5 am Thursday October 9th, the day of Fast-a-thon, for the traditional pre-dawn meal Muslims have before they start their fast! You don't have to fast to come (this is a collective way to help each other start our fast though), you don't have to go to Fast-a-thon at 6:30 pm that evening to come either (but we strongly encourage you to)!! Brother Majed Mahmoud will be coming to IOC for an enlightened lecture about happiness and how we can attain and amplify it. Food will be provided. Location: ICCG at 6:30 A little about our speaker: Majed was born in Saudi Arabia where he studied the basics of tawheed, fiqh, tafsir, hadith & tajweed for 9 years which was part of the Saudi school curriculum.
